I want to have a different name displayed on my course completion certificate, how do I change it?
Log in to The Careers & Enterprise Academy, then go to Profile settings, next to your name, at the top right-hand corner of the screen.
I completed a course but it's not showing on My Development page as completed?
Go back into the course and double check all modules within the course have been completed. The final module of each course is titled 'Wrap Up.' This module is designed to summarise the learning, outline next steps, and evaluate the course as a whole. Completion of this module is mandatory to achieve certification and successfully finish the course.
If all modules have been completed and it is still not showing, please submit a support request to academy@careersandenterprise.co.uk for further help - we will come back to you with a resolution or escalate the query to our technical support team.
Can I start a course then save my progress and go back to it later?
Yes, your progress will be automatically saved.
I don't know what course to start with or what course to do next?
On the My Development page you will see courses recommended for you by your role and there will be priority courses shown first. For example, for new Careers Leaders we recommend starting with the Careers Leader induction course to provide a foundation level of knowledge about the role. More courses and content will be added over time.
I'm looking for courses or learning content on a specific topic and can't find it on The Careers & Enterprise Academy, what should I do?
If you can't see any courses or learning content related to a specific topic, try searching on our Resource Directory for resources that support the delivery of that topic, or looking in our Help Centres to see how our other digital products can support you > Compass Help Centre - Compass+ Help Centre
I previously completed a course on the Digital Hub but it's not showing in the completed courses section of the My Development page?
A record of any courses you fully completed on the Digital Hub should be visible to you on The Careers & Enterprise Academy if you used the same email address to register for The Academy. If your course record is not accurate, please submit a support request to academy@careersandenterprise.co.uk - we will come back to you with a resolution or escalate the query to our technical support team.
I started a course on the Digital Hub but didn't get to finish it, has my progress been saved?
Unfortunately any courses on the Digital Hub that were not completed by 15th January 2025 have not been transferred across to The Careers & Enterprise Academy. Users should have received notifications about this in December 2024 and January 2025.
Please restart the course on The Careers & Enterprise Academy to have a complete record of all the learning you have undertaken.
I am a Hub Lead/Enterprise Co-ordinator/Enterprise Advisor and I can't see any courses recommended for me, or a record of the previous courses I have completed on the Digital Hub?
The Careers & Enterprise Academy content is designed for educators and those involved in careers leadership. Anyone is able to access the full range of courses available for educators within the Course Library, but courses specifically designed for your roles are still on the Digital Hub.
Your course completion records remain on the Digital Hub too. If you have any further questions about your learning, please contact digitalhub@careersandenterprise.co.uk.
